Forced into exile by the Soviets, Belarusian-born author Theodore Odrach’s work has been lost to the English-speaking world for almost half a century. Now, with the help of the daughter he hardly knew, this dissident’s voice is being given a new life.

Many stories by Odrach have appeared in literary journals in Canada and the U.S., including WRIT, Paumanok Review, Antigonish Review, Mobius: the Journal of Social Change, The New Quarterly, Translation: Columbia University, Wilmington Blues, Flipside, Archipelago, Scrivener, Connecticut Review and others.
